XML Guide

This app exports your signature template as XML so you can store, review, or import it into another system. The XML contains design settings (layout, colors, fonts, logo/banner URLs) and the default contact fields. Contacts are exported/imported separately as CSV.

Schema overview

<signatureTemplate id="..."> is the root element.
<colors> contains primary, accent, background, text.
<contact> contains the default fields used when no specific contact is selected.
<social> contains social profile URLs.
<confidentiality> contains your confidentiality statement.

Safety notes

Text fields are escaped when rendering so HTML cannot be injected via names/titles/etc.
For links/images, only http:// and https:// URLs are accepted; other protocols are ignored.
XML export escapes special characters (&, <, >, quotes) to keep files well-formed.

If you later import this XML into a server-side system, validate and sanitize again server-side before storing or rendering.
